not sure if they have several different version of this or not, but its an oreo coffee milk stout, and its awesome, definitely my favorite of the beers i had in here yesterday, hands down. its black as midnight, very viscous, and sticky, with a dense tan head on it. smells and tastes like oreos straight up, not overdone on the stuff part, although there is some vanilla here, its more about the cookie, dry and crumbling dark chocolate cookie abounds here, some fudge to it too, and almost creates the flavor profile of an oreo that has been dunked in coffee. the java here is strong, necessarily bitter, and really pretty sturdy in here, at least as robust as the dark malt is. maybe a little more sweetness than it needs, especially as it warms up and that element comes out a lot, but i love all the body, and the authenticity of the oreo cookie in the flavor is pretty epic. it drinks big of course, but its never boozy, i dont think the alcohol is exposed here at all, impressive. a really cool beer for halloween time, they nailed the flavor on this one!
