Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a Munique glass.
Appearance: The thin, one finger head disappears almost immediately and leaves behind some lacing in patches and spots. It's a murky, bright dark pink color.
Smell: It's mostly just raspberry with notes of lemon, guava and cake frosting as well.
Taste: It's a big, fruity, sour, pure raspberry flavor with a hint of sugary sweet whipped cream in the background and some pie crust.
Mouthfeel: It's thick, creamy, smooth and quite cloying with medium-low carbonation.
Overall: The aroma and taste are great but unfortunately it gets cloying after a while which was to be expected from the strong fruitiness and sugary sweetness that hit the palate right away. That said, it's a fantastic beer in smaller amounts.
