easily one of the stranger beers ive had in awhile, but also impressive from a concept to execution standpoint, weird as it is, didnt know these guys were canning either, so thats cool, thanks to my homie for hooking it up for me! this literally is designed to taste like a bomb pop popsicle, and it straight up tastes like the canned melted ones, its uncanny. a kettle sour with raspberry, cherry, and lemon, it seriously even has blue raspberry character. not sure i ever knew the white was lemon, would have guessed lime on that, but it tastes exactly like i remember it. its not all that beery really, like grain and hops arent really part of this, but it cooly has a bigger body, sort of slushy-esque when nice and cold, so it works. the carbonation is also really nice, it keeps this from getting too sweet or long lingering, and very much to my surprise, i find a pint can to be a pretty nice dose of this, i would sure it would be diabetic and cheap tasting, but it is neither. sometimes, rarely, a gimmicky concept yields a beer thats better than a novelty item, and this is that, sure its artificial tasting, but so are the popsicles themselves, nobody ever thought they used whole fruit right? all the flavors come together super well, the base kettle sour is great, not too acidic, real clean, addictingly tart, bright, and lemony in its own right, so its all well ahead of expectations. dont be turned off by this, its actually awesome!
