I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured an opaque dark with tan cream head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle nut and vanilla notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with very subtle roast malt start that turns slightly sweet and acidic with vanilla and anise presence all with a weak nut highlight. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.
