330 ml bottle served cold into a pint glass. Purchased from the brewery for $2.33 per bottle.
Appearance - Dark auburn colored beer with some brown hues. A small half finger of light tan head is poured on top and fizzles away pretty quickly.
Smell - Lots of malty goodness, some crackery aspects to the nose as well witrh some suggestions of dark fruit.
Taste - Like the nose with lots of crackery aspects, plenty of sweetness and caramel malts abound. Some pepper on my tasting as well.
Mouthfeel - Carbonation is moderate, body is a little bit heavier and has a prickly and spicy finish.
Overall - Solid red lager that won't disappoint those looking for a nice malty and crackery lager.
