On tap at the source. super sweet rum like quality on the nose. smells candyish. kind of a reddish brown color with small little head.
Taste is sweet and a lot of barrel character. Really tastes like a super sweet barleywine with rum. I think the barrel and the sweetness of the barleywine are giving it a rum flavor even though this one was aged in rye barrels.
Pretty good beer. Too sweet for my taste.
