Kettle sour that uses Wisconsin's native fruit to create a nice tartness and a beautiful color balanced by a touch of salt.

Pours a reddish-golden color with a thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweet, fruity with a scent of bread as well. Taste is sour puckering with a very light cranberry touch. The cranberry, such as it is, is quite light, almost not detectable. The mouthfeel is fairly lacking, less than moderate and is quite sour.

Pours out of the can a slightly opaque pinkish orange with a finger of fizzy head that dissipates within seconds. Smells like cranberries and citrus. Tastes salty up front and then the fruit sourness on the back that lingers for a bit. Carbonated strongly, with bubbles zapping your taste buds at the same time as the sour notes. It can take a few sips to really taste what's going on.

This one went directly from can to mouth, though I did pour some out for another interested party and saw nothing in the way of a head over the very pale pink drink. On opening the can, a strong smell of bread yeast was evident. Neither of us had high hopes. She gave it a a couple of legit sips and said I could finish it. Her palate is far sharper than mine, so she probably picked up something my old taste buds did not. It was certainly drinkable, but a taste of cranberry was hard to come by. It didn't taste yeasty (and the scent did moderate some) but I'd not have classed this as a sour. Mouth feel was fine, though overall it came through as an almost flat fruit seltzer. Not a ringing endorsement, but I'd probably drink a cold one in the heat of summer.

Mostly clear rosé color with decent effervescence and two fingers of pink grapefruit-colored head that leave nice rings of lacing.

Salty, slightly sour aroma.

The taste seems very clean when served cold. Very lightly sour. Would not pick up cranberry if tasted blind, but there is slow-building saltiness in the finish.

Light bodied with just enough carbonation.

Nice, refreshing, inoffensive brew.

Great can design. Poured, no head, little lacing along glass. Little smell, no taste. Great presence of effervescence. Would not buy again.
