Canned 1/30/22 (1 month ago)
Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy (65% clarity) medium to light golden color with a massive white head. SRM of 7. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, tropical pineapple and melon. Some hints of tangerine and stonefruit sweetness underneath. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, orange cream, tropical pineapple and melon. Oat malts, but drinks somewhat dry. (3.75)
Feel: Heavier bodied, Soft, somewhat thick. Smooth. Clean. (4.00)
Compared to Equilibrium Axioms of Probability 2/2023: Pours lighter, clearer, stronger head. Milder aromas. More tropical pineapple and melon. Less sweet grape, peach, stonefruit and mango. Lighter, less sweet, but similar smoothness.
Overall: A pretty decent NEIPA here. Nice Simcoe gives the tropical pineapple, some orange citrus, and melon flavors. Nice and smooth oat body. Not too sweet and this one drinks somewhat dry and clean. Shows the booze a bit though. Pretty standard and clean for an imperial NEIPA. (Rating: 3.83+ maybe)
