Another lager while I was out in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While California is so big they make virtually top tier versions of every beer style. But Arizona and Wisconsin, they stand out for making good lagers IMHO. I liked the name of this beer (Top Secret, 1984, Val Kilmer, sensible chuckle), and big ups to Nick U for taking us here.
Pours yellow golden with the lightest hue of amber to it. 1/3" off white head. Has a light lager yeast aspect to it. Seems like traditional Saaz hop notes. Floral, light pepper, zestiness, light grapefruit rind. Not overhopped.
Taste imparts equal parts lager yeast, pilsner malt and Saaz like hoppiness. Good bitterness but not overly pronounced. Seems pretty well dialed in. The taste of Midwestern golden waves of grain. Its simple, yet refined elegance. Lots of flavor but airy.
Dude from 2000 miles away adding and writing the first review for this beer. I wonder if there was any awareness of the self inflicted killing off of a lot of traffic.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
