Pours a hazy, bright, yellow with about two fingers of white head that retains fairly well. Smell is grapefruit, tangerine, and a slight note of herbal. Taste is resin, grapefruit pith, lime, mild bitterness, tiny note of herbal at the finish. Slight note of astringency, but not off-putting. Soft and full, drinks easier than it's abv. Liked the beer, not the best from Basic City, but it's a nice drinker and I think it fits the occasion they brewed this for.

Poured from a 16 oz tallboy can into a Duvel tulip. 03/06/18 on bottom of can.
A: Very hazy bright yellow with 2-finger off-white head with good retention and solid lacing.
S: A lot of herbal notes, garlic and onion, but not unpleasant, with resin and tangerine, orange, and ruby grapefruit.
T: Flavor is more fruity than the aroma in the early palate with pineapple, grapefruit, and lime coming through with a solid slap of herbal onion/garlic in the finish, but not over the top and pretty in line with the intensity of the beer overall. Bitterness is low.
M: Light-bodied and easy to drink with lowish carbonation and a soft full finish.
O: I liked this beer overall -- unique beer -- but the hop combo is a bit bracing with the substantial herbal nature of the hopping.
