Black in color thick tan colored head. Decent head retention. Pleasant cinnamon, dark chocolate, clove aroma. Similar taste, nice balance of bittersweet and savory. Fuller bodied

L: Pours a rich brunette, forming a thin, effervescent caramel head. Fades quickly to reveal a lingering swirl of tan bubbles. Held to the light, this beer has an opaque, heavy chocolate hue.
S: Malts, chocolate, and some spice/heat.
T: Lots of chocolate, and a charred malt flavor. Trace of cinnamon and a faint vanilla. Hints of chili pepper on the tongue. Astringent finish.
F: Medium- to full-bodied. Medium carbonation. Rich and silky.
O: It's a fine Mexican chocolate stout. The flavor is a bit unimaginative but is helped by a decent nose and overall drinkability. Wouldn't buy it again but it was worth a try.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Bräuburgers - Forest, poured into a mug. Had a deep, dark brown color and a thick consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Fantastic lacing.
S: A very good aroma of chocolate, malt, cinnamon, vanilla, and chili peppers.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of malt (present throughout), a bit of chili peppers (less than expected), a hint of vanilla, lots of chocolate, and light cinnamon notes. This is pretty much a chocolate bomb of a flavor. The chili peppers offer a nice little kick to it, but the chocolate is the real star here. Tasty.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth and somewhat dry finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: A wholly enjoyable stout. Drinkable.
