L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: A decent aroma of hops, citrus, malt, and some other lighter fruits.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), some hops (not as much as expected), a good amount of citrus (orange), some strawberry notes, and a little pine. An interesting flavor for a DIPA - it's not as heavy on the hops as others of the style. What it lacks in that category, it makes up for with its fruit presence. Pretty tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solid-enough beer. Not perfect, but worth a look. Drinkable.

Way too understated for the style in all areas.
Aroma is mostly strawberry and blueberry with a little melon, orange, and some generic ripe fruit. Very dull hop nose overall. Malt component is muted as well with some crackeriness but not much else.
Flavor is also dulled with some berry, melon, and mild herbal hop notes being most prominent with a soft malt contribution. Low bitterness but low flavor overall.
Feel is decent with soft body and carbonation.
Disappointing beer from Basic City -- every component is dulled with no bright character at all to excite the drinker.
