Appearance: On draft. Slightly hazy straw yellow with 3/4-inch of fluffy white head that was slow to dissipate and left strong lacing.
Aroma: Very strong tropical fruit/citrus and pine.
Taste: Not as strong as expected given the nose. Yet still had hoppy bitterness. Orange, apricot, tangerine, peach. None of the pine that's on the nose.
Feel: Low carbonation. Juicy and a little creamy.
Overall: Not ideal for the style. Seemed like the bitterness and the fruit juice were fighting each other. Not a bad beer. Rather, a confused one.

I have had this beer in many forms in the past month and the can of the beer being reviewed has been in my fridge between 4 & 5 weeks now. It has most likely has diminished in some of its flavour so heed the caveat.
a- turbid corduroy color, pours an incredible 2 or three inches of head and overflows on to the countertop. Moment of truth: do I use a rag or my mouth to clean?
s- very bright tropical notes, mango, pear, peach, orange zest. no pine, no flowers, A little breadiness buried in there in the back.
t- the taste is really trying to match the nose up front but it doesn't quite get there. I'm still rating this section at a 4 because when having it fresh on draft at its genesis, it tasted completely different AND drinking this a month ago out of a can was a totally different experience. I will take the blame there for not drinking this beer fast enough.
m- bitterness is tugging at the creamy direction this beer would like to go in. The tip of the tongue receives the bitters, although the side and back of the palate work through it just fine.
o- It was outstanding out of a can up front and really good now. Not as juicy now as before but still a high quality brew. Initially reminded me of Citra Lingus Version 2.0 but didn't break through quite as much. Starting to sound like a broken record with these > 4.0 reviews.

#CRAFTSUBLIME 05/07/18
Hazy white peach hue with 2-finger off-white head with substantial retention and lacing.
Aroma is pleasant but a bit muddled with a general Bright hoppy character but not a lot of distinguishing aromas. Some peach and grapefruit with honeysuckle and light grassy notes come through in the hops side, with a solid slightly Pilsner sweet pale maltiness to support. Bitterness is low-medium.
Feel is light-medium with low carbonation and soft finish.
Another excellent NEIPA from Basic City. Not as solid on the flavor side - I still would clearly prefer Bask or Opera - but still undeniably very enjoyable Beer.
