Canned on 6/6/18, poured into a Duvel tulip.
Nearly clear golden with solid 1-2 finger off white head with good retention and a nice stripe of lacing.
Aroma is inviting with pineapple, grapefruit, pine, passionfruit, and floral character.
Flavor is also mellow and comforting with pineapple, peach, apricot, and grapefruit and orange citrus combining with a toasty cracker malt base. Bitterness is medium-low with hidden alcohol.
Feel is soft on the palate with a creamy feel and lowish carbonation.
Victorious is another hit for Basic CIty — they continue to broaden their core group of brands and I hope they keep Victorious in rotation because it is a creamy but flavorful IPA.
