Canned on 121818.
Black with beige 1-finger foamy head that fell away pretty quickly but left respectable lacing.
Aroma is roast with black coffee and dark chocolate notes
Flavor is a little More Complex than the aroma with more raisin fruit notes but still plenty of dark cocoa, espresso, and a nice dash of roast accented with a mild nuttiness that is nuanced and complementary. Low-medium bitterness and no alcohol notes.
Feel is solid with medium body with slickness and low-medium carbonation to leave a highly drinkable beer.
Excellent job by Basic City on another dark beer to put up against the Grin series.
