Canned on 9/1/20 on bottom rim. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Very hazy orange-gold with 1-2 finger off-white frothy head with good retention and craggy lacing.
S: Aroma is heavy orange and grapefruit with herbal hop character in the background and floral, candy like fruity esters profile.
T: Flavor is high on esters with a lot or orange and pith character. Hop burn is light but there and a slight herbal-vegetal note in the finish. Low bitterness.
M: Not crazy about this sort of heavy-soft mouthful which they tried to compensate for with high carbonation.
O: Interesting to put out a pre-Bask iteration - the final beer is much brighter with hop character and lower on esters with a lighter and softer feel.
