Canned on date 6/8/21 on bottom rim of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Hazy gold with 2-finger off-white frothy head with good retention and copious lacing.
S: Aroma is solid but not killer with a lot of melon, floral, pineapple, papaya, and lime.
T: Flavor is about a half-step more intense than the aroma with high papaya, honeydew melon, pineapple, and honeysuckle floral/herbal notes. The malt backdrop is substantial. Yeast esters are fruity and present but not overbearing. Bitterness is low.
M: Super-smooth and easy to drink. Carbonation is subdued and body is firmly medium. No chalkiness or off-putting burn.
O: Another solid Hop Tropikos iteration from Basic City - I wish it was about 10 IBU more bitter to sharpen the flavor profile. Worth a try for sure.
