12oz can poured into a SA glass
A- pours a clear golden color with a one-finger foamy white head that has good retention
S- smells of doughy malt, caramel, bread crust, dried dark fruit, light floral hops
T- doughy malt with some slightly-sweet caramel notes up front, followed by some floral hops at the mid-palate. The finish gives more doughy malt and floral hops
M- light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a slightly creamy finish

08/22/22 on bottom of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A : Soft burnished light amber with 1-2 finger foamy light beige head with average retention and sparse lacing.
S : Good balance of sweeter pils and characteristic Munich malt aromas. Clean with no esters and light herbal hop note.
T: flavor is well done but tastes more like a strong Vienna lager than an Oktoberfest beer. Very malty with a good balance of pils malt sweetness and breadiness with more grainy Munich malts. Bitterness is low-medium and hop notes are lightly herbal. Clean without esters or alcohol presence.
M: Feel is very smooth and drinkable with light-medium body with soft carbonation and dry finish.
O: A really nice effort by Basic City. I’d like to see the ABV bumped up a touch with the same balance and drinkability. Really pleasant surprise but shouldn’t have been given how much I like their Our Daily Pils.
