Copenhagen 16/5 2026. 50 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Can in spring colors like yellow and green with the name of beer and brewery in dark red letters.
Pours opaque unclear pale yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as a several centimeters thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor son overpowered by a strong citric scent. Sweet pale malts and bread. Citrus and lime in abundance. Tart and a little sharp.
Rather strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture On the verge of being fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter but a little thin. Lingers for a bit, Finish is a semi-dry.
Light and citric - and all suited for food.
