On tap at Ukiah Brewing Company.
A: Served chilled in a pint glass with about a half inch of dense white head that head that consistency of whipped egg-whites. Beer was a sort of hazy dirty tea color similar to apple cider. The head slowly reduced into a thin film that left sheets of sticky lacing down the glass.
S: Sweet Belgian fruits, spices and yeast. Not particularly strong smelling.
T: Notes of apples, pears, pepper and other spices. Notes of bitter fruity hops and black tea in the finish. Tastes a bit like apple cider. Low to no sourness.
M: Low carbonation, thin body, and a bit flat. Finish is slightly bitter.
D: I am no expert in this style, but as a beer it seemed pretty average. Nothing really stood out except the thin body and low carbonation. These aspects I feel especially could have used improving. I would probably try this again when I'm in the area to try and get a better read on it. Not my favorite though.
