Description from the brewery states: "double ipa dry hopped with 7 lbs of simcoe per barrel." Crowler canned 8/4/17, consumed the next day (today). Golden crowler with killer artwork looks absolutely amazing btw.
Pours a fully hazed, opaque deep orange with a finger of off-white foam. More lacing than you normally see at this ABV.
Smell hits me as soon as I pop the top. Tons of peach, pineapple, mango and sweet citrus, along with some spicy, piney notes. Taste is similar, with a bit of bitterness that nicely offsets the sweeter fruit flavors. Feel is a smooth, rich medium. Not a hint of booze.
Insanely good IIPA. Alex is killing it.
