On draught at the Brick Farm Tavern. Served in a snulip glass. It pours an opaque, pale grassy-yellow color with a thick, creamy milk-white cap and abundant lacing. It's fragrant smell features oats, lemon, grapefruit, and floral pine notes. It's very tasty, opening with a nice balance of oat sweetness, tart lemon, and bitter grapefruit rind. At mid-sip there is a subtle hint of ripe melon. The hop bill isn't indicated but they are strong and bitter at the finish, along with a touch of peppercorn. The feel is super creamy with a moderate level of carbonation, and the 8% ABV isn't distracting. Overall, this is a highly flavorful ale with a great mouth feel. It was delightful with a cucumber salad and goat cheese.
