Pours a mahogany brown color that is mostly clear with a light tan head that lingers. Beautiful beer. The nose features roasty malts, the seeds referenced in the beer notes, some honey sweetness, and nice berry and stone fruit notes.

The taste is all about the the roasty malts and nutty flavors melding with the berry and stone fruit flavors for a brown ale that is packed with flavor and so approachable.

The medium mouthfeel fits this beer so well. I can see why this is the brewery’s flagship beer.

The flagship beer of Earnest Brew Works. A solid go to if you don't know what to order there. There are a TON of different variants as the weeks go buy with different firkins such as peanut butter, lucky charms, etc.

The beer tastes great. Smells just as good as it tastes. Everything I taste, I smell. The feel is a little off to me just because of how thick it is, but it is a darker ale. Regardless, I think it could be a bit smoother. Love the sweetness of the smell. Love the color as well. Spot on for the style minus the feel.

I tried this beer at Stubborn Brothers Pizza in Toledo, Ohio. It poured a clear dark amber with thin white head that left some lacing. The scent had good malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with a sweet malt base and subtle hop bitterness at the finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was an solid beer.

Can courtesy of BigTimeADL.
L: Iced coffee.
S: Hazelnut iced coffee smoothie.
T: Iced coffee, hazelnut, vanilla, milk,
F: fairly thin, but being an American brown ale is appropriate.
Overall: Quite tasty. If this was labeled as an imperial stout would be disappointed. However this is just a brown ale with a bunch of hippie ingredients added. Comes out tasting like a flavored coffee from a Costco food court.

Canned on 11/14/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a dark brown with light brown hues; light khaki head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Hints of caramel and toffee. The flavors follow the nose. More caramel and toffee. The granola and oats do their thing. Some sunflower seeds and raisins in the mix. There's an earthiness to it. Moderate bitterness. Malts do their thing. Finishes clean and dry. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, spritzy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice brown ale. It's a classic and traditional example of the style despite the use of granola. The craftsmanship is impressive and takes this one to the next level. It's clean, refreshing, enjoyable and fun to drink. Well done. I like it.

L: Dark brown with a tan head that quickly dissipates
S: unusual for a brown ale. Can’t quite pin it down but it’s one of better attributes
T: sweet at first then malty but with a crisp finish. Not sure I like it but definitely unique and well crafted
F: crisp considering all the various ingredients
O: Appreciate the unique blend of flavors and how balanced this beer is just not sure I’m digging it. Might have to try another!
