Served on-tap in a zidel style mug, this beer draws a mainly clear, medium to dark golden color with a white head that's about an inch thick when first drawn and serves. Head eventually settles to a thin white ring long the inside of the glass along with decent lacing. Aromas of toasted, biscuity, caramel malt sweetness along with piney, earthy hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with slightly toasted, somewhat biscuity, caramel malt sweetness and a earthy and pineybhop bitterness. Good balance of flavors overall, with the hop profile dominating just slightly. Has a crisp, fairly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a fairly dry aftertaste. A very solid IPA that's very drinkable.
