Canned on 11/10/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a dark brown with auburn and mahogany hues; creamy light khaki head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Mild hints of spice. The aromas aren't bad, they're just very mild although they open up slightly as it warms. The flavors are clean. The spices aren't shy, but it doesn't quite come off as a spice bomb. There's a nice amount of chocolate and cocoa coming through. The granola adds some depth. Low sweetness. Solid bitterness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, spritzy, crisp and smooth.
This is an alright brown ale. It's obviously not a classic or traditional example of the style. The spices are bold and even aggressive at times, but they're ultimately balanced for the most part, which works for the brown ale style. I personally liked their regular "Crunchy Hippie" a lot more, but this isn't bad.

Spiced version of Crunchy Hippie. Spicing seems a bit over powering. Nice dark brown with small tan head with some lacing. Smells of corrieander, cinnamon and allspice on top of the nice malty smell of Crunchy Hippie. Medium to full body makes an easy beer to drink. This is one that gets better as you drink it, but still a little over spiced.
