Pours a nearly clear yellow color with a sudsy white head that provides minimal lacing. The nose features a significant lemongrass note and white bread, which makes it more like a hoppy German pilsner.
The taste is also all about the lemongrass and white bread notes. This is a really tasty beer, and one I’m glad I have more of to enjoy, especially with the almost brutally crisp mouthfeel, but it’s really more in the German pilsner category than the festbier category.
