Served in a snifter
This beer pours super dark brown and is topped with an inch of lively, tan head that leaves quickly without a trace.
Oak, hints of roasted malt, and pronounced cherry aroma.
Cherry flavor. It almost has a Dr. Pepper flavor. I don't get a whole lot of stout flavors. Dry and oaky.
Light bodied for a stout and dry mouthfeel
Not at all what I was expecting. I fear it may be infected based on what I experienced and looking at some check ins on Untappd. I purchased it yesterday at the downtown Earnest location. It is probably a good thing that I didn't sit on this one. It wasn't horrible. It just seems off to me.
