Amber orange reddish tones, Strong nose of tonka beans and vanilla the aroma is very intense and pleasant, Taste is of sweet sherry notes, bit malty , bit of cane sugar and vanilla, boozy finish but not too overpowering, mouthfeel is velvety and mildly thick . On the sweet side and to enjoy sipping slowly.

Pours a deep, dark amber coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of biscuity, caramel malt and slightly resinous hops, with notes of toffee, red berries, tonka bean, brown sugar and pine. Taste is a good balance of biscuity, caramel malt and slightly resinous hops, with strong notes of toffee, red berries: cherry, red currant and tonka/vanilla bean, some fruity esters of red apple, pine and just a hint of brown sugar, coffee and chocolate. Finishes bittersweet, with a light bitterness and some toffee, red berries and tonka bean lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium/rich body and light/medium carbonation.
This is kind of all over the place, but not necessarily in a bad way, even though I don't really see the point of a "White Stout", especially if it's a dark amber coloration. It really feels a lot more like an American Barleywine than a Stout anyway, while the additives don't come through all that much as well, except for the tonka and vanilla beans. Still, it kinda makes for a pretty nice brew in it's own way, with a nice balance of sweet and bitter notes, as well as a good complexity. Unusual, perhaps a bit odd, but still rather nice in its own way.
