Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical, citrus notes with vibrant passion fruit and lighter grapefruit notes, as well as some light dank and herbal accents. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and herbal hops, with strong tropical and lighter citrus notes of passion fruit, mango and grapefruit, as well as some herbal weed. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some passion fruit and grapefruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
There's quite an impressive, vibrant passion fruit character to this, showcasing the Strata hops beautifully, altghough it's not quite as dank as I would have imagined, with only light weedy accents, as well as some citrus and light herbal notes. Seriously, I don't think anyone would doubt you if you told them that there was actual passion fruit in this. While body and mouthfeel aren't that great for the style, to be honest, this still makes for a very enjoyable brew with a good bitterness in the finish as well.
