De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Con queso de Codi de etiqueta morada. Jugando a Fortnite. Imperial stout de perfil dulzón en la que el café no toma el protagonismo sino que se muestra de manera bien integrada, suavemente pero fácil de discernir. El abv reconforta sin molestar, e incluso anima a beberla rápido de lo aconsejable

Pours a pitch-black coloration with a small, fluffy, mocha-colored head. Smells of slightly roasted, quite caramelly malt, chocolate and coffee, with the caramel malt and chocolate actually being a lot more distinct than the coffee here. Taste is a decent balance of slightly roasted, quite caramelly malt, brown sugar, chocolate, molasses and lighter coffee, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Finishes rather sweet, with a very light bitterness and some caramel, chocolate and lighter coffee and spices lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a rich body and light/medium carbonation.
This is just way too sweet for a coffee stout in my personal opinion, which I expect a more dry and roasted flavor profile from. While the coffee is evident here with some nice spicy and somewhat citrussy notes, it is way too overshadowed by the caramel malt, brown sugar and molasses for my personal taste, which reminded me of the Brazil Coffee Edition as well, unfortunately, which I also didn't enjoy very much. Overall, a rare miss from Pühaste when it come to Stouts, with this being way too sweet and not quite roasted enough for the style as far as I'm concerned, although there is a very nice body and mouthfeel to this. You may still enjoy this if you prefer your stouts on the sweeter side, but it just doesn't quite live up to the style for my personal taste.
