De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Viendo Amazing Marcadisimo y delicioso perfil a café y chocolate que oculta cualquier rastro en boca de su elevado abv aunque esté termina afectando a la cabeza bastante 2.

Pours a pitch-black coloration with a small, creamy, mocha-colored head. Smells of roasted, caramel malt, coffee and lighter chocolate, with hints of citrus fruit and lemongrass as well. Taste follows the nose. with a great balance of roasted, caramel malt, coffee and lighter chocolate, as well as distinct citrus and berry notes from the coffee, with accents of lime and blackberry, and hints of lemongrass. Finishes with a light bitterness and some coffee, chocolate and lemongrass lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium/rich body and light/medium carbonation.
Ironically enough, I'm not really a coffee person, yet i really enjoy a good coffee stout and this certain fits the bill. Having had a few of the Tumeaines now, I really think it's fascinating how much they differ by coffee variety. This one actually doesn't have such a classic coffee flavor profile to it, being rather fruity, almost zesty, with some citrus and slightly tart berry notes. It's quite zesty for the style actually, which I rather enjoy, with the roasted malt and chocolate notes providing a nice balance here. Overall, this makes for a very nice coffee stout that's just a little different than what you might expect from teh style, but in a good way.
