Pours an opaque, dark orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light doughy malt and strong raspberry and passion fruit notes, as well as just a hint of vanilla. Taste is a great balance of light doughy malt and strong, tart raspberry and passion fruit notes, as well as some mango and just a hint of sweet vanilla and sea salt coming through as well. Finishes with a medium tartness and some raspberry, passion fruit and sea salt lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Brewers adding heavy fruit additions to a "Gose" is a bit of a pet peeve of mine, as this is a traditional style. What this is, in my opinion, is not a Gose but a Fruited Kettle Sour. Which is fine and I like it well enough, but it's simply not a Gose, even though the salt does actually come through here a bit heavy-handed while the vanilla stays very much in the background, which I don't personally mind that much. Quite vibrant, intense notes of tropical fruit and red berries, with a good tartness in the finish.
