Pours an opaque, pitch-black coloration with a small, creamy head. Smells of roasted, slightly caramelly malt, chocolate and raspberry, with hints of black walnut and licorice. Taste is a great balance of quite roasted, slightly caramelly malt, dark, bitter chocolate, tart raspberry and hints of black walnut, licorice and tobacco. Finishes with a medium bitterness, light sweetness and some chocolate, raspberry, black walnut and tobacco lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium/rich body and medium carbonation.
Having had a few disappointments from Pühaste lately, I'm glad to really have enjoyed tonight's offerings and this one especially. It strikes a great overall balance of quite roasted, medium bitter and light tart and sweet notes to me, with the raspberry and dark, bitter chocolate standing out the most, but backed up by some nutty, smokey accents. Overall, this makes for a rich and well-balanced brew that never turns overly sweet, with a great, roasted and bitter character to it.

Dark brown black colour. Smells of nothing because I've got a stuffed nose, but taste is nice raspberry and chocolate. Not too sweet but with a nice feel. Good stout, not too tart, just natural fruity sourness.
