Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and muddled citrus, tropical hops, with a sharp, boozy aroma as well. Taste is a poor balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy hops, with muddled citrus and tropical notes of mango and grapefruit. Finishes with a medium sweetness and some mango and grapefruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I've been so spoiled with too many excellent TIPAs lately that I almost forgot how difficult this style is to brew for the average brewery. I had my worries, as IPAs are not Pühaste's strongest suit, but this displays all the hallmark pitfalls of the style, with an overt sweetness, sharp, boozy aftertaste and overripe, muddled hops.
