Poured at fridge temp. Pours a very thick black with basically no head. A bit of sludge at the bottom. The nose is phenomenal. Chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, marshmallow cream, and some dark fruit. I'm amazed by how much vanilla is coming out of a stout without added vanilla. Crazy.
The taste is lovely. Lots of roasted malts, vanilla, bourbon, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, molasses, plums, raisins, and a hint of licorice. Wow. What a beauty of a beer.
The mouthfeel isn't as thick as I thought when I poured it. Medium bodied. The aftertaste is full of bourbon and vanilla. Lovely stout overall.
