Pours hazy purplish pink, light pink head retains as a lacing.
Smells of fresh berries, cream, vanilla, and bready malts.
Flavor is of bitter mixed berries, vanilla, and bready malts.
Medium creamy body, stinging carbonation on the tongue.
The flavor of this beer is a pithy bitter that masks some of the other flavors. Those background flavors are good but overshadowed by the bitterness which makes them harder to appreciate. Thankfully the bitterness subsides as the beer warms and the true character of the beer starts to take over. Good body, good aroma, drinks easy. Let it warm a bit from fridge temperature.
