After a long day of touring, the second beer rarely tastes as good as the first.
This is my second from the M&S lineup for which I just bought 4 from the Cambridge train station (recently updated as part of a national campaign... something the States sorely needs.)
And I thought I rated the first on the train, but the Wi-Fi lost me. Anyway, I'm avoiding the beer's review as I had yesterday.
But, I can review the brewer. So I went on their website and was quite impressed. A young brewery with a new plant in an old building with a decorated brewmaster. Pulling together these achievements is matched by a website that is skillfully organized, meticulously researched and well-written. Dedicated to the English brewing tradition, Wimbledon also does the good-guy stuff of partnering with charities and local producers who preserve English ways.

Can. Clear light amber with a thick frothy head which dissipates leaving a scum like surface.
Sweet aroma of malt and hops with the addition of tom cat spray (elderflower).
Flavour of malt, grain and lemon. Damp cardboard present.
Medium body and carbonation.
Interesting.
