We stopped here to try their beers and to have lunch. The place is located in an older mixed retail, office and residential area, and parking was metered at the curb. A patio is situated at the front of the building. The interior has a bar area with some seating in the first section of the building, and then a large open space in the other section. Open wooden beams and brick and painted wall give off a nice vibe. Ordering service for beer was at the bar, and our flight was brought to our table. The food was ordered via a QR code at the table. They weren't busy when we were there, so our beer and food were delivered promptly.
There were 23 beers on tap plus a hard lemonade so we ordered a sampler flight of 6 beers to experience a variety before arriving at an overall review of them. Each beer was brewed very well to style so that we gave an overall rating of 4.16 to them. The Clear Skies West Coast IPA was the standout, but all of the beers were scored at 4.0 or higher.
We ordered a pizza for our lunch, and it was delicious. Mocktails, wine and slushies were also available. Some beers in cans in a cooler were available to go. This was a nice experience, and the place is highly recommended.

Fieldwork has a large brewpub in a nice older building. It’s big with high ceilings and a large open area and not quiet, but overall nice and comfortable. It has nice old brick walls, attractive rice decor overall, comfortable seating- especially in the benches along the walls. Beer quality is good and enjoyable but not outstanding. It’s fairly pedestrian and lacks complexity or anything memorable, tends to be simple and one- or two-dimensional, but it’s good, solid beer with firm character and it goes really well with the food. There is also a broad range of styles. Food, at least the pizzas we had, was outstanding. They have a broad range of different pizza droppings in Detroit style and non- Detroit style and the execution is excellent. Crust is nice and all cooked , toppings are carefully chopped and prepared. Service was good and very friendly.

Fieldwork Sacramento offers a spacious haven, divided between a beer sanctuary and a restaurant serving delectable Detroit-style pizza. The beer menu, a quintessential Fieldwork offering, boasts unique lagers, porters, and elusive brews absent from distribution. However, the IPA selection, while extensive, feels like a game of naming charades, giving an illusion of variety. It's a place for quality pints and flavorful bites, a haven for beer enthusiasts seeking the Fieldwork experience in Sacramento.

Visited for a late dinner with my family on a Friday, and a late lunch with my family and other kids/parents on a Saturday. Had a couple beers each time.
All the beer I tried was good, though none was legendary. The pizza is pretty good, the random other sides are also pretty good. Service is a little odd, but very friendly. You start all orders at the bar, they give you a number if you get food so they can bring it to you wherever you sit. Except that they're not very consistent about actually giving you a number. Or taking it back when they brought you food. So, I guess I would say the service is disorganized, but they're friendly and nice enough to basically make up for it.
The space is big. with big tables, and (at least right now) lots of outdoor space.
They have a broad selection of styles, though it's dominated by IPAs. A couple kettle sours, several lagers, a couple Belgian styles, a couple stouts.
I would definitely go back.

Impressed with this spot! Great vibe and music...customer service was fantastic...felt very taken care off. Selection of brews was very high quality. Nice place and will return! The only negative is that their beer is limited in it's availability in cans to-go. Hopefully as they grow, more cans will be available...

Little place w/ outdoor seating. They have food but it comes from the restaurant next door. We purchased a flight and was impressed with all of them. I recommend highly

This Fieldwork satellite taproom is a little small, but has outside seating, and it is located in a nice area of Sacramento. They had a lot of tap and all the beers I had were very good.

Great low-key vibe place with really good beer. About 20 of their beers on tap. Service was good but they were under staffed so it took a minute. Every beer I tried was delicious.

The Fieldwork main brewery is in Berkeley, and this is their satellite taproom in Sacramento.
Fieldwork is *the* taproom to visit if you're passing through Sacramento. 20 taps, with a focus on saisons and wild ales of every description. I had a taster tray and each beer was outstanding. Vibe is kind of a new, clean, hip taproom; maybe not a great "hang" but welcoming enough. The service was good and quick. I highly recommend Fieldwork if you're into more exotic beer offerings.
