Clear gold pour, thin white head. Nose is malty with a floral touch.
Taste shows sweet bread, floral, vague herbal. Light to medium mouthfeel. Finish has a light bitterness.

Honestly this beer is just bad. It’s crappy beer. Zero redeeming qualities at all. It is just about as light as water, yet has a bit of a foul taste to it. No sustaining head and super carbonated. The very worst of what a beer can be.

Alright its time to get the Texas trip this year beer reviews going, we're getting caught up I love it. Paranoid schizo in the background on jailcam, good times.
Pours a cloudy yellow. 1/3" white head. Cracks the nose with a big yeast sulphur aroma. I'm here for it. Great start. All the lager/kolsch yeast smells.
The taste is impressive, transmutes the smell alongside the taste. Light bodied mouthfeel, yet plenty of lemony breadiness throughout. Doesn't drink bitter or overhopped like you often get in some of the west coast kolsch offerings. I can totally see this being the jam in hot Texas weather like I experienced at the end of May this year. Like almost exactly 6 months is the backlog, haven't got it down that low in awhile, those not quite open all the way ski runs allow for more indoor review time I guess. Perhaps there is some mineral water aspect here, something is popping nice.
Had to buy a six pack. Carl legend tow truck story.

Poured from the can into a snifter tulip glass.
Pale lemon and not quite straw colored. White bright fleeting head but excellent collar.
Bread rich nose on the aroma. Thick sense of flour but with density. Lots of hinting grain and minimal hop notes but the malt bill is diverse and even sweet slightly.
Palate is real solid. Moderate touches of bakery rich malt, but also more of a pine like heatness. Finishes a little peppery, and touching hop heat surprisingly. Rich malt flavor throughout though with white bread dough and nice pils malt density, and rocky hinting mineral water.
Very solid delicious Kolsch

Pours as expected, clear and golden. I wasn’t expecting such a ‘fruity’ punch to the olfactory senses, and certainly on the palate. It’s a little Lifesavers, almost, but in a more refined way. Considering the temperature read in the triple digits, I’m not complaining.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heavy of a grainy smell mixed with some aromas of a light caramel and herbal smell. Along with these aromas comes a light grass and hay smell as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and crisp cracker malt flavor mixed with a tiny bit of caramel sweetness. As the taste moves forward the graininess increases al while the caramel sweetness decreases. A little bit of a corn like sweetness and some herbal and earthy hop (very light) come at the end, leaving one with a crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thin and crisp with a carbonation level that is average to slightly higher. For the style the feel is great and makes for a nice easy sipper.
Overall – A rather nice kolsh with a good flavor and very easy drinkability.

12oz can with no date, purchased at the brewery on 10-6-20. Opened 10-24-20.
1 finger white head falls to a 1/4" solid cover quickly.
Pale straw color with excellent clarity. Thin, wispy and sticky lacing.
Apple skin, light floral perfume, and sweet grain in the nose.
Delicate and subtle malt flavor, quick fruit flash, and a spicy but quick hit of hops.
Oh so light body, medium carbonation, and a quick, dry finish.
Delicately light and really good. Crushable TX summer beer at 4.6%.
Very Good.

Notes from 5/9/2020.
Poured from a 32oz crowler into a Rastal nucleated Teku glass.
The body is a very pale clear yellow with 1 finger of white head. Retention is average leaving a thin cap.
The intensity of aroma is low. There are notes of sweet malt, and Noble hops.
The intensity of taste is medium. The flavor has malt, Noble hops, and a moderately bitter finish with a mineral flavor.
The thickness is low. It's slightly creamy, has low carbonation, and an astringency level that's just below medium-high.
Overall, it's a well crafted beer. I appreciate that they are using traditional ingredients. I'm proud of Austin breweries ability to brew great German beer.
