A crisp, hop-forward nod to Texas-style pilsners, Vaughn blends tradition with a little Lone Star attitude. Brewed with Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Tettnanger hops, it’s floral, earthy, and just bitter enough. Not quite German, definitely Texan—Vaughn does his own thing (and he does it well).

16oz can with no date on it, purchased at the brewery 10-6-20. Opened 10-8-20.
2+ finger white head. Tight bead and dense long-lasting foam.
Golden with very good clarity. Thick and sticky lacing.
Minerality, clay/earth, and a hint of sulfur in the aroma. Grassy/floral hops.
Crackery malt, grassy and spicy hops. Simple as it should be.
Medium body, moderate carbonation. Close to crisp mouthfeel.
Hoppy/doughy, with just a touch of sweetness in the finish that lingers and throws it off a bit for me.
Add this to the long list of tasty central Texas pilsners.
Very Good.
