Clear very light gold pour, white head starts strong but drops quickly. Nose is corn and malt.
Taste offers sweet corn up front, light kilned malt, some rice krispies notes, hint of the mentioned pear. Light mouthfeel, slight creaminess. Finish is crisp. I was pleasantly surprised.
