Old School IPA. We dove into the Pink Boots Hop Blend while also revisiting the classic C-Suite (Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, and Columbus). This beer has a very approachable bitterness and is rich in hop resin and citrus peel flavor, all integrating beautifully with a caramel malt depth!

Well now bArF is rocking both adding beers, and their Next Glass corporate notes to this database. You're welcome. Man, how bout that CM Punk showing up Saturday night? Give me my prediction Kudos.
Anyhoo, had this as the first ipa during my Texas visit. Pours golden, decent clarity and 1/2" white head of average retention. That's what girls are for. The aroma drops a medley of C hop pine and rind. Tad of maltiness, but not full fledged maltyboi membership. Not accepting new members at this time was the line in Sopranos.
The taste is much the same, old school reference is appropriate, this comes off like a yesteryear ipa but without the excessive crystal malt, just a hint. Carbonation good. I mean, this is the standard bearer of good enough ipa. Was getting the feeling that Texas wasn't going to be a hoppy place, and it generally wasn't, but man the lagers are bangers similar to Arizona. I wanted to rate it higher given that I grow all four of the hops in this, but you know, it is what it is.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
