S’more-Inspired Imperial Stout.
It all started back in January. We decided to make a big ol’ imperial stout – one that needed to be boiled for 16 hours! We started the brewing process around noon on a Thursday and didn’t finish until noon on Friday! During the boil, we set up our tents, invited over some of our best friends in the industry, and had an old-fashioned collaborative camp out – one filled with s’mores, games, and beer (of course). Made with heaps of toasted mallows, graham crackers, and Madagascar vanilla beans, Camp Out has so much marshmallowy goodness and sumptuous sweetness, you’ll think you’re sitting fireside with a few of your best buds. This baby is thiccc with the c’s – deliciously decadent! ?

Another drink from the Texas trip. Even though its 6 months later, I'm writing the first review for this Next Glass database from over 1,000 miles away. Down bad. You did this to yourself. This should be classified as a pastry stout, as designated at the corporate parent's website.
Imperial stout pours black. Thin beige head, 1/5". Actually one of the lighter colored heads on an imperial stout I've seen. It ain't brown nor cherry cola like, its like, cream filled coffee beige. Aroma was mostly sugar, not much nuance, roasted malt ain't hittin' but there is a light graham cracker aspect discernable through all the mallow sugariness.
The taste is nice, its full on pastry time, it makes no other claim otherwise. 12% is dangerously drinkable at this sugar content. You know what I don't like about this beer? That I like it. I wouldn't want to wreck 22oz of it at a time, but boy a nice 8oz pour rocks the party that rocks the body. Its more about the marshmallow and graham cracker than it is roasted malt, and that's ok.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
