Oh cool, here is another beer I had like over 2 years ago that doesn't have a single review for it here at this Next Glass owned website. Got cans of it too after having it on tap at the source.
Pours yellow leaning into a brass like color. Average clarity. 1/3" white head. Not a big double dry hop or anything here, smells like Simcoe more than anything. Good bitter brisk pine and rind kind of hit.
The taste is much the same, a dry bitter mouthfeel indicative of a Simcoe and/or C hop giving grapefruit rind and bitter tree needle. Commercial tug job references dankness, but there doesn't seem to be the requisite proprietary hops for said dankness going on here. More bittering hops than others. Fits the west coast ipa style in terms of mouthfeel especially. Seems to be an IPA more than an APA as listed here and on the can. A rose by any other name.
