The artificial sweetness kills it for me, but I guess the high rating currently (88) is a result of the fratbro crowd rating it highly because it has a high ABV.
I'd sooner drink Ballantine, but if you like saccharine artifice, this may be the beer for you.
D / NOT RECOMMENDED

pours a crystal clear reddish-orange gold body with a cream-colored foam head that fizzles up quickly to a finger-and-a-half height and holds with low retention, fizzling right back down to a thin murky cap with a thick and defined halo, and leaves no lacing behind
aroma is sweet, thick, and floral; mildly funky ala marmalade
taste follows the nose, and blossoms (heh) into a more defined citrus bouquet with orange'n'rind marmalade holding up, along with honey and light vanilla. it bitters up in the finish with a dash more orange peel and earthy hop. also, there's a fairly boozy kick
mouthfeel is mid-level carbonation and medium-light bodied that runs fairly grainy and crisp (although a little watered down later) with a semi-dry, crisp finish that highlights the boozy nature. the aftertaste is funked up marmalade, orange peel, and earthy bitter hop
overall:
decent. I enjoyed it but am glad I didn't grab the full pack and opted for the single can instead. as the can states, this is certainly not your mamas blonde - but if you like the style a lot and wish there was one with more kick and would be thrilled to hear that it tastes like marmalade and drinks like a cognac, then look no further. this has an almost Belgian appeal to it in a way, which may or may not be what I'm telling myself in order to enjoy it more...

Foggy amber with a short and uneven off-white head settling to a thin chain.
Straight out of the can, this is kind of medicinal and not so great. The blonde characteristics have trouble punching through notes of cough syrup that confuse this muddled brew.

Poured from a can. Dark golden in color with a white head. Smells of vanilla, cinnamon, orange and honey. Flavors of honey vanilla and cinnamon and maybe some dark fruit hints. Lots going on with this beer. It's a little busy to be called a blonde ale. Decent beer but calling it a blonde is strange.

Almost copper in color, darker than I thought it would be. Not much of a head. Smells of apricot, honey, and I think cinnamon. The mouthfeel is full. Great taste. Honey, cinnamon, vanilla. Very good!

Poured from a can into a chalice glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed deep amber color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades super fast and leaves almost no lace on the sides of the side.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a slightly bready and cracker like smell mixed with aromas of honey and candied sugar and a bit of light fruits of peach and apricot. Along with these smells comes some aromas of a bit of spice of coriander and clove as well as a little bit of grass and some boozy smells.
Taste – The taste begins with a fruity taste of apricot and peach mixed with lots of honey and candied sugar. The malt is of a lightly toasted biscuit malt mixed with a little bit of cracker. There is also a clove and coriander spice taste that is strong from the start and that grows stronger as the taste advances. Toward the end the apricot amps up and some light boozy tastes and just a touch of vanilla come to the tongue and leave one with a nice Belgium Strong like flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is slightly on the higher side. For the crisp nature and the mix of sweet, booze, and spice creates a very nice medium for the brew.
Overall – A nice blond/strong ale. Lots of flavor and a nice easy drinking feel.

This blonde is FEISTY indeed!!! A delicious and smooth vanilla bomb with a hidden 8.2% ABV that will kick you in the nuts for motivation.

I think this beer is phenomenal so strong but so smooth and I'd argue the best after taste I've ever had on a beer. Have a couple and then have a blast. Made an account just to review it.
