Le Grandeur marries the fruit of Masumoto Family Farm with our aged hop base (aka Snakes & Ladders) for a beer that shows off complex fruit character derived from both the flesh and the pits of Le Grand nectarines. Fuzzy peach aromas are underpinned by a slightly funky quality that brings the overripe tropical fruit notes for which we love Masumoto fruit into contact with the cheesiness of the aged hops and also subtle pineapple aromas from the base beer. Deeper still, is a foundation of minerality with little bits of wet stone and petrichor peeking through.

500 mL bottle into a teku glass
Cloudy appearance, apricot color. Ripe citrusy nose, nectarines take front and center. Just enough funk on the palate to tame the fruity profile, but this is a fruit tart in a glass.
This has been sitting in my wine rack in my house for a couple years (as opposed to my cellar), and room temp-aging has done no damage.
