What a great experiment !
Released in November 2020 and most UnTappd's 30 check-ins were done by spring, I just found my copy in 2022. Still good, but also incredibly interesting.
First of all, who would have thunk? Fernet is an obscure bitters unless you live in Italy and Argentina and need to digest your meal after gorging. So my Midwest bros at Lo Rez decide to adapt their Wee Heavy recipe and age some in a fernet barrel from... I'm not sure where, so having more mystery is better. And when all copies have gone away, I find one and add it to BA's portfolio.
Of particular note here is the flavorful dryness of what is otherwise a sweet, malty brew.
My 17th from Lo Rez, I've also added a dozen of their ales to BA. So that makes me a fan. And have my reviews end with "I'm going to come visit you." And then I don't make the time. But as long as you bottle beverages as interesting as this, what is my motivation?
And finally, I don't get the joke about Dogma... but it is true. Too much dogma today to solve today's problems.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
