Single bottle from the brewery.
Pours an amber brown with a red hue. Almost no head, just a thin layer with a thick ring around the glass.
Distinctive whiskey smell, hints of caramel.
Taste is not as boozy as I expected, the 12.3ABV are hiding quite well.
Silky smooth medium body.
I enjoyed this one a lot!

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Absolutely beautiful dark ruby red color with excellent head and lacing. Rye booziness smell and taste. Toffee, dark cherries, and a lucious malt backbone. Very nice wee heavy!

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This beast pours a dark ruby tinged mahogany
with a moderate head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin light layer,
and shows subtle lacing with each sip. Nose of light subtleties, subtle spicy rye and
sweet vanilla mingling with soft barrel and rich caramel. Flavors pack the punch
with caramel, light rye and warming boozy barrel notes with vanilla and oak
over subtle cherry and touches of tea and cola. Fantastic mouth feel for a brew this
big---warming medium full body, light carbonation, smooth as silk, well hidden
booze, and a rich warming sweet and lightly dry finish.
Overall, a true winner made in Kentucky
Cheers
