12 ounce can, no dating on it that I could find. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a Teku glass, the beer pours a murky burnt/orange copper color with about an inch and a half off-white head that stayed around for a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like bourbon, vanilla, rye, caramel and some earthiness. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some oaky and dark fruit flavors too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this one was good, definitely recommended if you're into barrel aged rye beers!

12oz can poured into a tulip.

Pours a murky and glowing copper; small light khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing.

The aromas have lots of apple and spice. Lots of bourbon. Some vanilla and caramel. The aromas start off heavy on the alcohol, but everything eventually blends well together.

The flavors basically follow the nose. More apple leading the way. More vanilla and caramel. Some cherries, especially black cherries. There's a decent amount of coconut coming through. Some cocoa in the mix. Subtle spice along with some rye and black pepper. The bourbon starts off strong but quickly becomes balanced, just like in the aroma department. Solid malt backbone. Subtle warmth in the finish.

Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's very slick and slightly syrupy.

This is a decent brew. It's a little rough around the edges, especially in the beginning, but everything ultimately comes together. It's nothing too crazy, but it's not bad.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This MONSTER pours a cloudy orange tinged
brown color with a light head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, subtle
wafting layer, and sports some subtle lacing. Nose of RICH whiskey, oak, light
vanilla, spicy rye, earthy malts, caramel, and faint herbal notes. Flavors follow
nicely with rich whiskey, oak, moderate vanilla, caramel, brown sugars, subtle cherry,
spicy rye, and touches of leather and tobacco. Nice mouth feel; medium body, smooth,
warming, low carbonation, and a medium dry finish showing some nice balance.

Overall---LOVE this brewery!

Keep up the great work!

Cheers
