12 ounce can, no dating I noticed on there. Got this one from Brutaltruth, thanks! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells mostly like raspberries/raspberry syrup, along with some vanilla and chocolate. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also some coffee, bourbon and burnt/charred malt flavors noticeable. I think the raspberry syrup flavor stands out, seems more candied/artificial raspberry than fresh ones. Barrel character doesn't seem too strong here. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, worth trying if you like raspberry stouts!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid dessert stout pours a dark
blackish brown with a nice had of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin dusty layer, and shows light lacing. Nose of raspberry, dark chocolate,
faint cream, and light char. Flavors surpass the nose with light bourbon,
faint oak, raspberry, dark chocolate, moderate char and dark roasted goodness,
subtle coffee, and vanilla notes. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, smooth, rich,
moderately coating, light carbonation, and a medium dry finish.
Overall, a nice solid brew that is not overly cloying.
Cheers
